Lyme Bay - 5th to 7th May 12 Weekend Report
The annual trip to Lyme Bay went ahead attended by Eric, Paul, Julia, Lisa, Colin & Andy H and was much enjoyed by all. However the 10 degree water, colder air, rain, near zero vis, punctures and something called low tide took some of the shine off the diving. Only one dive went ahead on Sunday (Paul, Andy & Colin) on the Baygitano in near zero vis. The intrepid divers used buddy lines and had a fingertip dive of the wreck still managing circa 30 minutes! Afterwards everyone had a good blast with the boat in calmish sunny Sunday afternoon weather. The temperatures were certainly a shock for those who had recently returned from Egypt. We all had a good time and I (Eric) learnt a lot about erecting and dismantling tents and a bit about the local beer. I was very well behaved this year and did not deliberately offend the camp site owners. We were visited by the charming Katherine, the delightful Carenza (Lisa's daughter) and the well behaved Daisy. Thank you all for making it an amusing weekend.
